Ghoulsmen (Book One)
The epic saga begins...
Rav Carvell is struggling. The Sink’s vicious mutants and Barons’ greedy soldiers keep attacking. The greatness of his family’s Name has become overwhelming. The newest beast to reach Stone’s Way is terrifying.
Pitt won’t stay safe much longer. The time to flee has come.
But Tibald Sar blocks their way.
He claims to come in peace, bringing power and riches from the Sink to make Pitt prosperous. Rav knows better.
Plots must be unravelled, mutants defeated, and the bond between brothers tested. Because something far more horrifying than fiends and fanatics lurks near Pitt. Rav will soon discover that difficult choices have devastating consequences that ripple across the entire Sink.

I'm delighted to have received glowing reviews from a wide range of fantasy readers, including fans of Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, and Sarah J. Maas. I would add that Ghoulsmen is a beast of its own without a direct comparison in the genre. It's my favourite aspects of fantasy I love combined and refined in my imagination to create my own unique world. Ghoulsmen has immensely deep world-building but without the bloat. Its single POV perspective ensures the grand-scale narrative unfolding before you is always deeply personal and purposeful. Everything, and I do mean everything, you read matters, right from the very beginning. I always aim to exceed expectations. Ghoulsmen not only delivers the breath-takingly spectacular finales you love, its twists and turns go far beyond them. I'd love to make you cry during Rav's greatest triumphs or smile even as everything starts falling apart.

I've been inspired by all kinds of fantasy media, from books by Brandon Sanderson, Darren Shan, and Angie Sage, to anime such as Berserk, Death Note, and Code Geass, to film (Stardust/Lord of the Rings), television (Game of Thrones/A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), games (Elder Scrolls/Dragon Age), to webnovels (Reverend Insanity/City of Sin) and much, much more.

There are many, but the main ones would be action, adventure, thriller, psychological thriller, mystery, horror, and (a little) romance.

Four years. I'd written five books prior to Ghoulsmen, and, after being unsuccessful finding a publisher for them, I then started working on Ghoulsmen, combining everything I'd learned about writing along the way to create my best work yet. And all that work paid-off. I was delighted when, not only did Cahill Davis Publishing accept my manuscript for Ghoulsmen, they also signed the entire series, which is extremely rare for a debut author. Ghoulsmen is a phenomenal series and I can't wait for you to read it.

I love fantasy and have done since I was a child, from books, to films, to games, to anime. Having enjoyed so much, I wanted to create my own stories for others to enjoy too. I'd love nothing more than for Ghoulsmen to entertain you.

I would suggest 12+. While there isn't any sexual or gratuitously violent in Ghoulsmen, there is heavy threat.
