City of Champions (Book Three)
Deceived. Betrayed. Wounded.
The epic saga darkens...
Rav is out for revenge. Champions Guard attempted to murder him. Jinkin organised the attack. The Sisters gave the order. All must die.
But Lyra’s been taken deep into the Sink to face punishment for her crimes, the few allies Rav has left keep fighting amongst themselves, and his Heaven’s Tear isn’t strong enough to defeat his enemies alone. Greater power is needed.
The city of Varheart promises to provide the training he seeks.
Madmen must be believed, fanatics escaped, and the mystery of ‘Chezrah’ unveiled. Because Rav’s sanity is starting to fray under the realisation that his every suffering has been designed.

City of Champions is a little more gory than the first two books but still restrained. The threat level is also significantly increased, and, with the expansion of the lore, ideas already established across the series become far more complex.

City of Champions is about the same length as Blood Marsh.
